Question : What does skin cancer look like ? I have some brown , scab-like blemishes on and around my left nipple . I was wondering if this is anything serious ? The right nipple is similarly affected , but does not look quite so bad .
Answer : It is extremely unusual to get skin cancer around a nipple . However , there is a condition called Paget’s disease which affects the nipple . It looks like eczema and bleeds easily and if you think this is what you have , then it should be treated by a specialist . There could be a simpler explanation , though . The scab-like blemishes sound as though they are an encrustation caused by skin oils . If you use a softening skin lotion they should just lift off , but if you are worried then do consult your doctor .
Question : Why do my nipples become hard in the cold , or when I’m sexually stimulated ?
Answer : Most women’s nipples are very sensitive to changes in temperature or to touch . The muscle fibres within each nipple contract when they are stimulated and this has the effect of making the nipple erect
Question : I know I’m pregnant but my nipples are leaking milk . It is so embarrassing . What can be done about it ?
Answer : Do visit your doctor who will check your bllod for the presence of the hormone prolactin . If too much of it shows up, then this is what is causing the leaking . You will them need further tests to see why you are producing so much of this hormone . Some drugs can cause prolactin to be overproduced but the Pill is not one of them .
Question : I have always been very flat-chested . Is there any exercise . I can do to make my bust any bigger ?
Answer : Not your actual bust , no . That is determined by your own hormones and the body build you inherited . Exercise can make your bust appear bigger , but it is the muscles which support the bust that you are developing . Good posture also helps you bust look bigger and exercise can assist there too
