Question : What are breast shields and how do you use them ?
Answer : These are made of rubber or plastic and worn under your bra , next to your skin. There is a small hole in the centre of them and the nipple is gently pulled through this by suction. You would start by wearing them for just a couple of hours a day at first and gradually increase the time towards the end of your pregnancy. If this fails to bring out the nipples then you may not able to feed .
